About Us

Adam Lovett of By Hand Catering with 30 years experience in the hospitality industry has owned and operated a litney of restaurants from Manhattan to Southold. Adam got his start in the city at Arizona 206 [Manhattan] and Contrapunto[Manhattan] and managed P.J. Clarks [Manhattan]. He also managed Starr Boggs [Westhampton Beach], Tequila Jacks [Fire Island] and Jedediah Hawkins [Jamesport] and owned and operated Vespa [Manhattan] and Passion Fish [Westhampton Beach]. He has also worked as a sommelier, sold wine, and curated winelists for some of the top restaurants on Long Island. Adam currently owns and operates a Mano [Mattituck], A Lure Chowder House & Oyster-ia [Southold]. Adam coordinates By Hand Catering's events.
